Here in week 6 we examine Smart Borders which promote cargo tracking systems new inspection technology and traffic management strategy that all help to ease border congestion. Basically Smart Border agreements use a layered approach in monitoring and inspecting cargo and travelers coming across the border and have better cross border cooperation with our neighbors. Of course implementing and enforcing Smart Borders does come with an added economic impact. Additionally our discussion will determine whatconstitutesIntellectual Property theftand examine how Executive Order 13133 – Unlawful use of the Internet threatens security and affects the economy.
