Purpose of the Assessment
Over the course of the semester you will be given many opportunities to test your ability to ask the right
questions and come to a conclusion using all of the Critical Thinking Process. The goal of these
assessments will be to put you in different positions and discover the best way to solve ethical
dilemmas.
Goal of the Assessment
After providing your initial reaction to the video, we will use the Elements of Thought and the Universal
Intellectual Standards to provide in depth analysis on a current events issue.
