1. Compare the leadership traits and behaviors of Ben Samuels and Phil Jones. In what ways are they similar? In what ways are they different?
2. If you were Phil would you continue to act the same way towards the employees? If yes, for what reasons would you act the same? If no, for what reasons would you act differently?
3. Based on the Daft text and assigned reading it can be said that Phil can benefit from the contingency approaches to leadership. Which theories will benefit Phil the most? Discuss the theories.
