Data sources are the locations either physical or digital where data being used is acquired from. Data is acquired through the sources of data which are the primary sources of data and secondary sources of data. For primary data we use surveys, observations, personal interviews, questionnaire, and experiments. For secondary data we use websites, books, journal articles, government publications and internal records.

My biggest source of data will be the use of questionnaires. The use of questionnaires is one of the primary sources of acquiring data. It involves observing and handing out a form of questionnaire that has choices to individuals who are going to answer the questions by ticking the choice that is to their own point of view and preference.

Data analysis is the process of gathering raw data, cleaning the data, and organizing the data. I am going to analyze my data by defining my goals, I will clearly set my goal for the project before I start collecting my data. I will then clean my data and remove anything that is not useful for my project. I will come up with my data analysis toolkit which will be a spreadsheet to store my data. I will collect my data and then finally I will visualize the outcome of my data for my project. Whatever the data collection method, the process will involve the generation of large amounts of data. Data sources are important in collecting data. Data is used in decision making and to come up with solutions for problems and figuring out on the improvements that should be made in certain areas.
