Credible vs. Non-credible Medical Website

Using the Internet, a person can now look up almost any kind of medical information imaginable. As this class focuses on learning medical terminology, you need to know what defines a medical webpage as credible or non-credible.

1. First, research and define what is a credible vs. non-credible medical website. Include the URL from where you found your information.  (Wikipedia is a good source to start with, but it is not considered a credible academic source.)
2. Next, find a “credible” medical website on any medical topic of interest to you. Post the name of the site and the complete URL, and describe why it is considered a credible website.
3. Finally, find a “non-credible” medical website on the topic you selected.  Post the name of the site and the complete URL, and describe why it is considered a non-credible website
