Develop 3 activities for children that address the math concepts that have been studied.

For this assignment you will participate in an outdoor field trip to engage your sense of wonder.
1. Plan for a walk outdoors for a minimum of 30 minutes. Take a notebook or sketchpad, pencil, and camera with you.
While exploring the outdoors make sketches of the following in your notebook/sketchpad.
Something:
• Furry
• Big
Small
• Straight
• Round
• Tall
• Short
• Smooth
• Rough
• Colourful
• New
• Old
• Cold
• Warm
• Above you
• On the ground

Write down field notes. Field notes can include what you see, hear, feel, taste and smell of the various things you are sketching. (If necessary, take photos to help you remember this experience but these photos are not part of the assignment.)
When you have completed your field trip, think about what this excursion made you wonder about. Take photos of your sketches and field notes. These photos will be included in your assignment.
Consider what activities you could develop for children if they accompanied you on this field trip.
