Writing a project outline about discrimination like racism, religion or people.

What should your outline include?

• Hook- This can be where you share a personal experience that connects to the issues you will write about
• Thesis Statement/Focus Sentence- State your argument/claim directly. What is the problem?
• Topic Sentences for your Body Paragraphs- Connect back to your thesis statement
• Quotes in your body paragraphs- Find evidence. Find Golden Lines/quotes from readings and videos from class or sources of your own.
• Conclusion with a call to action with solutions. How can you help fix this problem? How can others fix this problem? Think of actions.
