Dating back to the beginning of the coverage of sport in the media, please identify each new media platform ( in chronological order) and/or major innovation that has occurred in sport media. Please address the following:
• What is the media platform?
• When did the new technology become available?

• How did the new technology change or improve the overall fan experience?
• Finally, pick a pick a year before 1980 – compare the consumption of sport then to how fans consume sport today.
