Hello everyone
Gender Stereotypes from my point of view traditionallythe female stereotypic role is to after she’s getting marriesand has children. She is also expected to put family’s welfare beforeher own be loving compassionate carriestaking care of the family as needed.
The male stereotypes are to be the financial provider. He is also to be assertive competitive independent and careerfocused. The children also learn gender stereotype from adults with gender roles socializing with parents teachers peers religious leaders and media as well as pass along gender stereotypes from one generation to the next.
In our culture the ideal male is perhaps seen as competent stable tough confident strong and accomplished. The ideal female’sperhapsseen warm emotional kind polite and friendly. On the other hand there may be several women who are naturallyextroverted brave and tough.
Each culture has standards about the way that people should behave based on their gender
