Students will use their position paper (2000 – 2500 words) and annotated bibliography to compose a thoroughly supported research paper that describes the finding of their research. Minimum 8 sources must be used, including peer-reviewed research articles. The student must take a position that applies belief and reasoning systems to concepts of ethics and knowledge (DBR 200.1) and applies said systems of knowledge and ethics to issues in society, history, faith, spirituality, and one’s own life from a global perspective (DBR 200.2).

can you spend a little more time on your introduction of the history-the technology involved in the device

-then the demographics of current usage

-then the issues involved as you laid them out in the beginning of your presentation

-lack of policies

-lack of marketing regulation to prevent ads going to children

-current health concerns…

maybe an attention grabber intro para about the recent outbreak of deaths associated with the use of the devices

then dig into the body of the paper…

what are, if any, possible positive outcomes of using these devices?

what does the medical associations have to say about their usage?

then finally-what do you think the future of these types of devices will be?

for example-can these devices be used to convey marijuana smoke? or are they only for tobacco products? Are there hybrid models that do both?
