The symptoms refer to the manifestation of certain illness or ailment that is apparent to the

patient or casualty herself. In contrast, signs refer to the manifestation of a type of disease that

physicians perceive. Based on the clinical manifestations present in Mrs. J, it is clear she is ailing

from high blood pressure (hypertension). She also has a health history of chronic heart failure as

well as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (Bernal, Cummins & Gasparrini, 2017). The
