Rationale
The main aim of the act is to ensure that the health benefits policy does not only cover the
chemotherapy treatment which may be intravenously delivered or injected, but also any form of
orally given chemotherapy (Walter et al, 2014). The act is specifically for the treatment of
cancer. The other agenda of the law is the prohibition of the state from the use of any form of
resources, be it financial or of any other, in support of the expansion of the Affordable Care Act.
It also bars the state from the creation of any insurance exchange as well as a navigator program.
