In times of pandemics, health communication is very important because it not only helps
the people to protect themselves and know how to respond to situations but also helps
professionals understand the seriousness of the situations and any new measures developed to
beat the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic that started in China has quickly spread to the rest
of the world, and the U.S.A. has not been left out. The U.S.A. is the most affected country and
the CDC, as well as the state and local governments, are working in tandem to control the spread
and provider healthcare information and services. The paper examines an article by the CDC
about the situation of the U.S.A pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic as of April 19 2020.
