Identify and describe non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and associated risk factors

Task: Previously within your role as an intern for a Health Advocacy Group this semester, you prepared a report for Queensland Health outlining the epidemiological changes of a non-communicable disease (NCD) and made recommendations in regards to a treatment or prevention-focussed response to best control this NCD. Your supervisor has now asked you to continue your investigation into your chosen NCD and prepare a report ahead of the Queensland Health Round Table event they will be attending next month. This report should draw on the latest research to identify the risk factors associated with your chosen NCD, and critique the effectiveness of different levels of prevention currently in place (or possible) for this NCD both in Australia and globally.
