significant changes looking at the fundamental amendments formulated to effectively serve the
American society. Technically, the constitution is perceived to be representing a good balance
between the values of liberty and stability to the current American society. Benjamin Franklin, a
United States activist’s suggested that those giving up important liberty for the sake of obtaining
a little and temporary stability and safety neither deserve liberty nor the stability. From a
constitutional perspective, liberty is a value that only requires enhancement and must be

fact that the current United States’ constitution has adopted appropriate security that finally
enables liberty to her citizens. The previous notion that stability in the country will apparently
compete against the state of liberty is long gone and a balance is well established between the
security and liberty to the Americans (Heffner, 2009). Certainly, the prime function of proper
security and stability is to directly protect the state of liberty for the American society. One of the
fundamental issues facing the current society of Americans is not the trade-off between liberty
and stability but finding out what exactly liberty entails and how security critically contributes to
