How do you think political ideologies affect decision-making?

Question Description

1- Which theorist do you think presents the most idealistic approach to a government system? Which one presents the most realistic approach. In you post, please give specific reasons, many of which we discussed in class, for why you feel this way(200-250 words no outside sources should be used)

2- Choose one of the following theorists: Socrates, Aristotle, Plato, St. Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Machiavelli, Thomas Hobbes, John Locke, Rousseau, John Stuart Mill, or Karl Marx.

Find at least one ACADEMIC article (from the library databases) which discuss this theorist’s contributions to politics and government. There may be more than one contribution, and you can discuss as many as you want, but MUST have at least one.

In 300 – 350 words, please respond to the following:

What was this theorist’s major contribution(s) to politics and government? Even if it was a “negative” contribution, why is this still important? Do you agree or disagree with this theorist’s approach? Why or why not?

3-or this assignment, you may need to do a little research before-hand on what political ideology is. There is also information in CH 6 in the book that might help.
