Leadership and Economic Models

I must report that the course material allows me to adopt a leadership style that

enhances the provision of quality care in the clinical area. I comprehend the disposition of

adopting a flexible leadership that incorporates everyone. Technically, healthcare is an area

that presents different situations, which calls for different leaderships that suit the present

situation. The types of leadership to consider include transformational, democratic, laissez-

fair, autocratic, and servant. The necessary skills that propagate enhanced performance

include self-confidence, diversity, effective team building, and valuing others. I believe that

every nurse must also align to trends to facilitate an understanding of their environment. It

is the primary proliferation towards making proactive decisions. It is also a dimension that

facilitates the availability of information for critical thinking through the available options.

Generally, I learn that nurses must be analytical in their encounters as this helps them select

the best alternatives that increase outcomes.
