• Referring to the 5 approaches/lenses to studying personality, describe and defend their own theoretical position on personality. That is – which lens(es) are most useful and why?  If you find more than one lens useful, how do the lenses you pick fit together?  If some lenses are less useful, why?

The different approaches/lenses are:

-Trait approach (use chapter 4 and 6)

-Biological approach (use chapter 9)

-Psychoanalytic approach(chapter 10 ‘Basics of Psychoanalysis”)

-Phenomenological approach (use chapter 12)

-Learning and cognitive approaches (use chapter 16)
