- Students are to choose a diagnosis, writing a clinical research paper identifying DSM-V criteria for diagnosis and how these apply to behavior exhibited in an individual. If you use real life examples (i.e.: someone you know) please do not use real names (Change them or say “a friend”) to protect privacy.Paper Criteria:
- Give a description of the behaviors your subject is displaying.
- List the full Axis diagnosis (explanation given closer to do date) AND relate the above stated behaviors to explain why the client meets the criteria.
- Also include a proposed Treatment Plan for the individual. Please be specific: example: just saying the client would benefit from “talk therapy” does not cut it! List what topics and the order you may address them with the client.
For subject matter (in lieu of using a family member or friend), you will need to choose one character from a movie to diagnose. As this is a clinical paper, please keep the tone of the paper professional (watch over-generalization and excessive opinions and judgments).I am looking for clear, clinical supporting evidence for grading purposes.
