Maternal Newborn Teaching and Brochure: Umbilical cord care.

• Demonstrate utilization of evidence-based data to support a discussion of s topics.
• Discuss nursing interventions based upon ethical, legal, and professional standards of the profession of nursing.
• Describe how the impact of this topic is relevant to the patient population she will be teaching.

Students will then find a current article (within 5 years) from a Nursing journal that addresses the topic.
