Online Dating Apps
Introduction
Online dating is becoming more popular, and people are gradually move away from
traditional dating. The advancement of technology has altered how people communicate
(Finkel et al., 59). People in conventional settings must travel to specific sites or locations to
share, such as department stores, homes, outdoor spaces, public places, business stores, outlet
hamlets, and shopping malls. Digital users can communicate and buy products from the
comfort of their own homes thanks to digital communication.
Problem Description
Online dating strengthens online platforms at the expense of personal relationships.
Digital communication that opposes cultural communication and society standards might
impact relationship development. The majority of research on digital communication has
focused on the practice’s cultures, social feelings, and perceived benefits (Fernandes et al.,
169). Limited research has been done on the effects of gift-giving on intimate relations and
the economy. The two pillars of digital technology are quietly but steadily changing how
people interact, and their use is expected to skyrocket shortly. As much as online dating is
gaining popularity in social and cultural communication, the process is likely to degrade the
social fabrics of the community by reducing the physical and communal interconnections.
