Programming around VT1 is a helpful exercise for health, body functionality, fitness, and
better performance. The intensity of the exercise can be quantified through physiological
measures. The elements used to measure the responses to the exercise include heart rate, which is
a more objective measure. The subjective measure for the exercise is a measure of exertion.
Exertion data can be obtained using different scales like the ratings of perceived exertion. This
scale reflects the overall perception of the effort needed by the whole body. Talk test is also an
exertion measure that reflects the exercise intensity’s ventilatory challenge. I believe that this
exercise, together with the measurements used in this exercise, can improve the indications that it
is meant for.
(2) Positive benefits experienced on this subject matter.
The benefit that I have achieved after going through the subject is that I have learned that
VT1 improves fat utilization. It has assisted me in knowing how to build my VT1 and measure
my heart rate and grade the intensity of the exercise. It has also made me know that training
volume increases adaptations to the exercise. The exercise also increases the resting glycogen
stores and enhances lactate and hydrogen ion clearance, which is beneficial to my health.
(3) Concepts about this topic you would discuss when sharing information (as a
professional) with others.
The concepts that I can share about the benefits of the exercise. The exercise improves
body fat oxidation by increasing muscle microvascular content and cell mitochondrial density. I
can also share the information that Type 2 fibers use Monocarboxylate-4 transporter (MCT-4) to

shuttle lactate across biological membranes, which helps clear lactate from cells. I can also share
the information that Type 1 fibers utilize a Monocarboxylate-1 transporter (MCT-1) to shuttle
lactate into the mitochondria inside cells.

Muscle resistance training is a practice that I believe that has better for bodybuilding and
general health. Because it leads to increased metabolism and increasing functionality, it can be
used to improve the quality and longevity of life. Exercise is also beneficial in improving health
and gaining greater fitness and performance. These benefits are important in ensuring that a
person enjoys the health that they try to attain using this exercise. The effects of exercise on
human hormones are something that I believe makes the exercise need some limits. Elevation of
