You will be working with a team to research the current treatment models used in the field and current issues that will need to be addressed.The team will make recommendations to propose a plan fora new center.

Individual Portion:
As a member of this team you will need to choose 1 treatment model used in the type of treatment facility your team has decidedto recommend. Alsohow wouldyou go about developing a plan using that treatment model to address 1 current issue that you will work to improve upon at a new treatment facility? Each group membershould pick a different issue to address for his or her individual portion. For example you might choose one of the following issues:dual diagnosis issues; MR/DD and addictions; mental illness and addictions; addictions and violence; domestic violence; violence in the workplace; criminal activity; sexual abuse; or child abuse and neglect. Individually write a paper of 12 pages detailing the approach the new treatment center should take to address the issue. Be sure to include both short-term and long-term goals.
