Written Assignment #3

Select a person of historical significance who lived during the latter half of the 20^th century, (1950-2000). NO PRESIDENTS. This selected person may be connected to a science discovery, an inventor, entertainer, athlete, businessman or industry as some suggested areas to consider, that made a historical impact to American society. Discuss why this person was significant, based on his or her impacts.

Include in your discussion how this selected person made a difference in American culture and how that impact has a legacy into present-day.

Person you might consider: Clint Eastwood, Jackie Robinson, Lee Iacocca, Bill Gates, or Ray Kroc again just to name a few people of interest. This will be discussed in class in a brainstorming session to ease the selected assignment topic

  • One title page, that includes your name, course, instructor’s name

  • One reference page, sources listed in alphabetical order by author’s last name
