Not too long ago the media was consumed by the story of a young woman who moved to Oregon to take advantage of the Death with Dignity Act. Oregon is 1 of 5 states that has this lawand it is an end-of-life option for mentally competent terminally ill patients with a prognosis of six months or less to live. It enables the use of prescription medication from a physician that is self-ingested and ends the dying process if it becomes unbearable. I have attached an article link regarding this case.
