The following is a case study for a respiratory illness which in most cases probable cause is
through inhalation. An interview with a55-year-old executive assistant provides the following,
1. Question 1: What information is pertinent to your client’s case?
According to my client’s response, the most likely cause of the disease is the
occupational exposure. This is most relevant since she informs of her colleagues of how they
share illness. Also, exposure of indoor or outdoor in relation to the described environment. The
over 100 year building which also looks like her place of stay might be inclusive in the probable
causes. There might be a risk of asbestos exposure from the old buildings.
Question 2: How would you asses your client’s risk?
