For the corrupted audio signals uploaded in vu collaborate perform the following
operations for each file:
a. Write a MATLAB code to calculate and plot the discrete Fourier transform of
the signal and label the frequency appropriately. Specify the rough estimate
of the maximum frequency for the Audio signal and comment on the type of
noise present.
b. Design appropriate filtering to clean as much of the noise from the noisy
audio files (‘Audio_<link is hidden>’ and ‘Audio_<link is hidden>’) as you can and
implement the filters in MATLAB. Save the cleaned audio signals and play
them in MATLAB. Notice the difference and comment on the performances.
c. Display the plots of the discrete Fourier transform of the processed output
signals and comment on their spectral characteristics by comparing them
with the input signals and the original clean audio signal ‘Audio_<link is hidden>’.
