THREE FACTORS THAT AFFECT FOOD CHOICES.
There are different types of food in the world today. However, the food types depend
on the angle that a person chose to view them from. Someone can choose to view food types
from their nutritional value or their taste. If someone decides to look at food from the
respective dietary value, then the foods will be classified as carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins,
fats and oils, vegetables, and so on (Downs, 2020). However, if someone chooses to classify
various food types based on taste, then the classification will vary from person to person.
Based on these classifications, people usually have their preferences of which food choice
they will consume. For this reason, therefore, there exist various factors that affect people’s
food choices.
For example, there exist biological factors that affect my food choices. These include
hunger, taste, and appetite (Cheng, 2021). Whenever I am hungry, I tend to eat literary
