Introduction:
For this assessment you will use the online PowerPhys software to simulate two laboratory experiments. The simulation in the Effect of Exercise on Cardiac Output module investigates changes in cardiac output due to exercise. The simulation in the Effect of Exercise on Arterial Pressure and Vascular Resistance module investigates changes in systemic vascular resistance due to exercise and the role of cardiac output and systemic vascular resistance in determining blood pressure.
