Variety of exercises from Why Stretch and Strengthen
From the reading Why Stretch and Strengthen, the exercises that best resonated with me
or rather got my interest are dancing, jogging, and skiing. I liked these exercises because they
were quite easy to execute and in line with my style of physical activity. For instance, I enjoyed
jogging as one of the exercises because of the busy schedule that typically prevents me from
planning a regular session to be active every day. Moreover, such exercises as dancing can be
conducted indoors whenever I am bothered by the weather extremes such as cold and heat. The
exercise that proved difficult for me is skiing because humans’ natural evolutionary responses to
gravity are not quite good for skiing, and hence the exercise is prone to accidents. I, therefore,
found trouble skiing and sustained injuries that caused me pain.
