What is the main conflict in Jackson’s narrative, “The Lottery?” How do the members of the community work to overcome this issue? What else could these people do to make life better for themselves? Use evidence from the story to support your answer.

This first paper had quotes from Voth which I did not need, as well as the professor describing it as being just a summary without the questions being answered and too long. Attached The Lottery Essay is an example provided on how the papers should look according to the professor.
