Overview
Evaluate decisions and impacts of key government leaders during the “Blackberry Panic of 2008”. Provide an evaluation of those decisions and impacts in light of the model of statesmanship introduced in this module/week’s presentation (please see transcript for this attached). Remember also that writing a research paper, especially at the doctoral level, requires you to weave in ideas from numerous sources and then in turn synthesizing those ideas to create fresh insights and knowledge.Answers to questions must be supported with research and citations. It is not unusual, for instance, to have 3–4 citations per paragraph in doctoral-level research.

This module will define the role of statesmanship in the realm of economic policy. To do so, you will first look at basic economic concepts and evaluate some challenges of statist (government) intervention into the economy. From there, you will discuss the “Blackberry Panic of 2008” as a case study.
