Social Media Campaign/Initiative Analysis (100 pts.) The purpose of this assignment is to evaluate two health or nutrition-related social media campaigns or initiatives of your choosing. The goal of the analysis is to examine best practices, understand potential analytics for use in evaluating success, and to evaluate the level of engagement with users. As with the previous assignment, I have identified a journal article that to assist you in your evaluative process: Niger, B.L., Thackeray, R., Van Wagenen, S.A., Hanson, C.L., West, J.H., Barnes, M.D. & Fagen, M.C. (2012). Use of social media in health promotion: Purposes, key performance indicators, and evaluation metrics. Health Promotion Practice, 13(2), pp. 159-164. Instructions: Select two (2) health or nutrition related social media campaigns/initiatives that are currently active. Your selections can be large scale, funded campaigns or small grass-roots initiatives. Feel free to email me if you need confirmation that you have selected an appropriate campaign.
