Topic Case Assignment 3 Social Media and Communication Technologies

Instructions

Social Media and Communication Technologies Although social media and communication technologies are being increasingly used for instructional purposes in schools, there are still some (parents, teachers) who do not believe that social media belongs in the classroom. For this assignment, you will put yourself in the role of an educational leader who is getting some phone calls from parents and emails from faculty who are not happy about some teachers’ choice to include social media as part of their instruction. Select one of the sources from the background readings that you believe makes the best argument for incorporating social media/communication technologies into the classroom. Use this source and any other relevant sources you need to bolster your argument to write a 4- to 5-page paper explaining the benefits of social media/communication technology use in the classroom.
