Your submission should be a 700-800-word response that answers the following questions:

1. Screen the following video, entitled The Ugly Truth of Fast Fashion at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGF3ObOBbac and listen to the BBC podcast assigned for Week 7 (“Counting the cost of fashion”).  Provide a reflection on what you already knew about this topic, what you learned that was new to you, and where you fit into this issue – do you buy fast fashion? do you dispose of a lot of clothing? do you make choices about your clothing based on environmental outcomes (and whatever your habits, explain your response)?

1. Having read Chapter Four of Pezzullo and Cox, how do you respond to the greenwashing and green marketing that surrounds us in the marketplace? Are you moved by claims of sustainability? What can you do to be sure you are making environmentally conscious decisions regarding your purchases?

You should divide the paper up more or less evenly, spending equal space on each of the two questions.  The paper should be typed, double-spaced, and should provide your comments in full prose (not in point form).  Make specific reference to ideas from the text book and provide references in APA format, whether for an idea or a quotation.

Please provide a word count as the final line of your paper!

A grading rubric will be posted in Blackboard with the assignment. This paper is worth 15% of your course grade.
